(Alliance News) - Wealth planning firm Kingswood Holdings Ltd on Monday said it has appointed both Lindsey McMurray and Howard Garland to its board as nominated representatives of HSQ Investment Ltd.
HSQ is an independent alternative asset investment management company wholly-owned by Pollen Street Capital Ltd.
The move follows Kingswood's GBP80 million fundraising, announced back in September, with an initial GBP40.0 million worth of convertible preference shares subscribed by HSQ.
McMurray founded Pollen Street in 2013 and is the managing partner & chair of the investment committee.
Meanwhile, Garland is a partner of Pollen Street, where he focuses on investing in financial services businesses and credit opportunities.
"We are delighted to welcome both Lindsey and Howard to the board," said Kingswood Chair Buzz West.
Looking ahead, he added: "Pollen Street's investment is a strong affirmation of the vision and growth strategy set by the Board at the beginning of the year. Their level of commitment highlights the growth potential both Kingswood and Pollen Street see in our stock and the potential to add significant value for shareholders."
