Kier Group Wins New NHS Contracts Worth GBP247 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - Kier Group PLC Tuesday said it has won new construction contracts worth GBP247 million in total through the National Health Service's ProCure21+ publicly-funded procurement programme.

The company said it is preferred bidder for a GBP160 million contract to design and build a new critical treatment hospital for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; has won a GBP25 million contract to upgrade three hospitals in Boston, Grantham and Lincoln for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust; has won a contract worth about GBP22 million to reconfigure and refurbish Dewsbury and District Hospital for the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust; has been made a supply chain partner to deliver a GBP40 million programme of reconfiguration works at Hereford County Hospital for Wye Valley NHS Trust, and to deliver the future estates strategy for the Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
