LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction and support services company Kier Group PLC Friday said it has promoted three executive directors to its board, leading to the departure of its chief operating officer.
Kier said it will appoint Nigel Book and Nigel Turner to its board as executive directors. Brook will be the executive director for construction and infrastructure services and Turner will be the executive director for developments and property services.
It has also appointed Claudio Veritiero to the board in his current role as strategy and corporate development director.
The changes mean Steve Bowcott, Kier's chief operating officer, will leave the company on April 30.
"We are today announcing these changes to ensure that we have the range of skills, experience and expertise to build on the successful acquisition and integration of May Gurney and to deliver Vision 2020. The new Board appointees have a strong track record with Kier and I am delighted to appoint them to the Board. I very much look forward to working with them," said Kier Chairman Phil White.
