7th Apr 2014 15:07

LONDON (Alliance News) - Kier Group PLC said Monday that it had bought the remaining 41.5% share of Justice Support Services Holdings Ltd from Uberior Infrastructure Investments Ltd for GBP4.0 million.

Justice Support Services has consolidated gross assets of GBP73 million as at December 31, 2013. It did not make a profit or loss for 2013, and its wholly owned subsidiary Just Support Services made a pretax loss of GBP94,000.

Justice Support Services were incorporated to carry out the Norfolk and Suffolk Police Investigation Centres PFI Project, under an agreement with the Police and Crime Commissioners of Norfolk and Suffolk in 2010.

It does not expect the acquisition to have an effect on it.

Shares in Kier were trading down 0.8% at 1,726.00 pence Monday afternoon.
