LONDON (Alliance News) - Kier Group PLC, a FTSE 250 construction and property development firm, on Tuesday said it appointed Andrew Davies as chief executive officer with effect from April 15.
Davies was CEO of construction, developments and property services company Wates Group Ltd from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that he spent 28 years at defence contractor BAE Systems PLC.
In October 2017, he was named CEO of construction and outsourcing firm Carillion PLC, but before he took up his new role in January 2018, Carillion collapsed into insolvency.
Davies is currently a non-executive director of Chemring Group PLC.
Kier shares were trading up 2.5% at 495.94 pence each early Tuesday morning.
