LONDON (Alliance News) - Keras Resources PLC on Tuesday said it has commenced ore mining under its bulk sample permit at the Anomaly 22 deposit.
The Anomaly 22 deposit is located in the Grants Patch Gold Tribute lease area in the Western Australian goldfields. The extracted gold ore will initially be stockpiled before being trucked to the Paddington Mill early next week, Keras said.
"The commencement of extraction at Grants Patch, ahead of schedule in quarter-one 2016, is a significant milestone for Keras. This, combined with the signing of the two additional tributes, sets the company up as a cash flow generative gold miner with an exciting future," Managing Director Dave Reeves said in a statement.
Shares in Keras were trading up 9.2% at 1.12 pence on Tuesday morning.
