LONDON (Alliance News) - Kentz Corporation Ltd Friday said that Chief Financial Officer Ed Power will step down on May 29 after reaching retirement age, and will be succeeded by former John Wood Group finance executive Meg Lassarat at that time.
Lassarat has held senior finance positions within the energy and resource sector since qualifying as a Certified Public Accountant in the US in 1989 and was most recently CFO of Houston-based professional engineering and field services organisation UniversalPegasus International, Kentz said.
Prior to that she was CFO of Mustang Engineering, a part of the Wood Group, for eight years, where she oversaw a five-fold increase in revenue to over USD1 billion and business expansion outside the US into Canada, Europe, Australasia and the Middle East, according to Kentz.
"I believe that this knowledge and background in international finance will be instrumental in helping Kentz to deliver continued growth over the coming years and I look forward to working with her," Kentz Chairman Tan Sri Mohd Razali Abdul Rahman said in a statement.
Power will stay with Kentz until August to support Lassarat as she moves into the Kentz role.
