12th Dec 2018 12:48

LONDON (Alliance News) - Keller Group PLC said Wednesday that Independent Non-Executive Director Chris Girling will retire and, separately, the firm intends to appoint Ernst & Young LLP as its new external auditor, starting in January.

KPMG LLP will remain the FTSE 250-listed ground engineering's auditor until the end of 2018 and will "assist with an orderly transition".

The resolution to approve Ernst &Young LLP will be put to Keller shareholders at its annual general meeting in May.

Girling will retire from Keller's board on January 1 and will be replaced as Audit Committee chairman by Independent Non-Executive Director Paula Bell.

Shares in Keller were up 1.2% Wednesday at 528.00 pence each.
