LONDON (Alliance News) - Kefi Minerals PLC on Wednesday said it is continuing to see positive results from its Jibal Qutman project and is making progress on the Hawiah licence, both in Saudi Arabia.
Kefi said the ongoing drill and trench results from the Red Hill prospect at the Jibal Qutman licence continue to expand the mineralisation zone at the site.
It added diamond drilling for metallurgical testwork has been completed at four of the prospects and simulations are now being undertaken in Perth, Australia, with results expected in the second quarter.
Kefi also said a first pass trenching programme at the Hawiah licence has been completed, with the initial results showing nearly all trenches continued anomalous gold.
"We are pleased to report good progress at both licences in Saudi Arabia," said Kefi Exploration Director Jeff Rayner. "Excellent progress in Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia pave the way for us to judiciously pursue larger regional targets over the longer term."
Kefi shares were up 3.6% to 1.16 pence on Wednesday.
