LONDON (Alliance News) - Kea Petroleum PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Dr Ian Brown as Managing Director of the company's operating subsidiaries in New Zealand.
Brown will begin in the role May 1, 2014, he replaces outgoing Managing Director Richard Parkes, who leaves the firm on May 15.
Brown is a geological engineer with more than 30 years' experience in applied earth science and management. He joins the company from New Zealand Energy Corp. where he served as
Chief Operating Officer then General Manager Development and Corporate Affairs.
Shares in Kea were trading 1.08% lower at 2.3 pence per share shortly after the market open Tuesday.
