LONDON (Alliance News) - IT and communications services provider KCOM Group PLC said Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Jane Aikman will step down from her role and the company with effect at the end of June in order to pursue other opportunities.
Aikman has been chief financial officer at KCOM for nearly two years since 2016, and prior to that was a part of IT services firm Phoenix IT Group for three years from 2012 to 2015, as chief operating and chief financial officer. Before that she was chief financial officer for renewable energy company Infinis for more than four years from 2007 to 2012.
In addition, KCOM said earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation were ahead of management expectations, while revenue was slightly behind for its financial year ended March 31.
"Jane has made an important contribution to the business, particularly her input into the further development and refinement of the group strategy and clearer business segmentation. She has built strong, commercially focused teams and delivered improved overall governance and controls," said Chairman Graham Holden.
"I would like to thank her for her dedication and commitment to KCOM and for her support in the orderly transition of her responsibilities. On behalf of the board, I would like to wish her all the best for the future," Holden added.
KCOM Group will publish its full year results on June 5.
