LONDON (Alliance News) - KBC Advanced Technologies PLC said Wednesday that it had signed a promotion and distribution agreement with Flaretot Ltd for its software suite.
Flaretot's software analyses flare relief systems in facilities like offshore platforms and refineries.
Under the agreement, KBC will bundle Flaretot's software with its Petro-Sim 5 software. Petro-Sim 5 is used to simulate oil refinery models.
No financial details of the agreement were provided.
"This partnership agreement broadens our product and service offering for the delivery of high quality safety and profit improvement services to the oil and gas industry," said Chairman Ian Godden in a statement.
Shares in KBC were trading down 0.9% at 114.00 pence Wednesday morning.
