Kazera Global Investee To Collect Core Samples From Mine In Namibia

LONDON (Alliance News) - Kazera Global PLC on Wednesday said its investee African Tantalum Pty Ltd began drilling campaign at tantalite investment mine in Namibia.

The company said testing services provider ALS Ltd will prepare 165 core samples from Namibia tantalite investment mine for assay. The drilling campaign has now commenced, with the aim to define lithium and tantalum mineralization.

Additionally, African Tantalum have now sub-contracted a third-party earth moving firm to clear all the drilling tracks in advance of the drill arriving.

The company also said its investee secured the licence to acquire water from the Orange River. African Tantalum intends to review in detail technical proposals of Orange River pipeline tender bidders to establish a short list of preferred partners.

"I am pleased to see the preparation of the next 165 core samples from Homestead in our refreshed strategy to ultimately define a JORC resource and enable a comprehensive understanding of the mineralisation across the property," said Kazera Chief Executive Larry Johnson.

Shares in Kazera were trading 8.8% lower on Wednesday at 2.70 pence each.
