(Alliance News) - Kazera Global PLC said Monday it has completed its maiden JORC-compliant mineral resources estimate for the White City pegmatite deposit, as part of the ongoing exploration programme at the Namibia tantalite investment mine.
The investment company said the maiden inferred tantalite resource at the White City deposit is
297,600 tonnes, in line with the company's pre-exploration programme expectations.
Across the White City, Purple Haze and Homestead deposits, the Namibia tantalite investment mine now has an estimated 622,200 tonnes of lithium and tantalite resources, Kazera Global said.
Further to the "highly encouraging" ongoing exploration activity at the Namibia tantalite investment mine, the company has registered a subsidiary named Kazera Trading, which will operate in conjunction with Kazera Global.
Kazera Trading will function as an ore trading arm of the company, facilitating the global movement of resources such as tantalum, leveraging the experience of Kazera's management, the company said.
Larry Johnson, chief executive officer, said: "This places the NTI mine in a positive position to close out the remainder of it's Phase 1 exploration drilling programme which we aim to complete before the end of the year."
Kazera shares were down 5.3% in London at 0.45 pence each on Monday.
