(Alliance News) - Takeaway food platform operator Just Eat PLC on Friday said Andrew Griffith is to step down as senior non-executive director with immediate effect.

This comes following his appointment as chief business advisor to new UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

During a period of significant growth and change, he has always provided wise counsel to the board and management, particularly his contribution as interim chairman. I wish him well in his new role."

Non-Executive Director Gwyn Burr will become senior independent director.
