LONDON (Alliance News) - Juridica Investments Ltd Tuesday said it had invested USD2 million in intellectual property company ipCreate Inc by contributing to that company's USD7.5 million fundraising.
As part of the investment, Juridica also signed a partnership deal that allows it access to ipCreate's skills and tools. It hopes that will enhance current and future patent and intellectual property investments, including selection of targets and the ability to generate money from them.
Juridica Investments, which provides strategic capital for corporate legal claims to both businesses and the legal markets, said it had invested in ipCreate by buying one million B convertible preferred shares.
The company's shares were up 0.1% at 150.6 pence Tuesday morning.
