LONDON (Alliance News) - Jupiter Fund Management PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Wayne Mepham as chief financial officer with effect on September 2.
He is replacing Charlotte Jones, who will leave the fund management group at the end of July after three years since 2016 to join FTSE 100-listed RSA Insurance Group PLC in the same role as before.
Mepham is currently the global head of Finance at blue chip asset manager Schroders PLC, and has been for nine years since 2010. Schroders made no announcement about a replacement early Tuesday.
"I am very pleased that Wayne is joining us. He has a long and successful track record in financial services and in particular, has deep experience of the asset management industry from both a domestic and global perspective. He is a strong leader with a wide range of relevant expertise including technical accounting, regulation and commercial development and I have no doubt that he will be an excellent addition to our team," said Jupiter Chief Executive Andrew Formica.
Shares in Jupiter Fund Management were up 1.2% at 355.50 pence on Tuesday. Schroders shares were up 0.2%.
