LONDON (Alliance News) - Jubilee Platinum PLC on Monday reported a rise in production at its Middelburg smelter and power plant operation and said it has put two projects on accelerated schedules.
Jubilee said the Middelburg project in South Africa saw production increase to 2,282 tonnes in the fourth quarter of 2015, up from 2,031 tonnes in the third quarter.
Revenue for the project increased to ZAR23.8 million in the quarter from ZAR21.6 million in the third quarter.
The company also said the Hernic Ferrochrome Pty Ltd project and the ASA Metals Pty Ltd surface platinum projects have both been put on an accelerated project schedule, with a target for both to be fully operational by 2016.
Shares in Jubilee were up 9.0% to 1.58 pence on Monday, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
