LONDON (Alliance News) - JQW PLC said Wednesday it has launched a new English-language business-to-business e-commerce site, www.jqwmall.com, to attract international members and promote its fee-paying Chinese members.
The company said the launch of the site is an important milestone, and had been deployed using funds it raised when it floated on AIM in December.
JQW in the early stages will only open the site to industries where there is an international price competitive position, and there are lower barriers for exports, it said. JQW will collect a commission on goods sold through the site, which it believes will be a new source of income for the company.
Shares in JQW were trading up 5.5% at 86.50 pence Wednesday morning.
