LONDON (Alliance News) - JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC Thursday said the total value of its assets increased between September 30 and November 6, along with its net asset value per share.
The company said its assets were valued at GBP87.7 million at November 6, up from GBP83.3 million at September 30, while its net asset value per share rose to 1,534.0 pence from 1.462.7 pence during the period.
In an interim management, the company said gearing increased to 5.7% on November 6 from 5.6% at the end of September, while its biggest holding was in US consumer-products company Jarden Corporation.
In terms of sector, the company's biggest assets were in consumer discretionary, followed by financial services and producer durables.
The stock was trading at 1,545.00 pence Thursday afternoon, up 10.00 pence or 0.7%.
