LONDON (Alliance News) - JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC Friday said its performance against the benchmark has been mixed over one and three months to the end of April, underperforming in one and three year periods to the end of that month, but still boasting outperformance over the longer term.
The trust, managed by Georgina Brittain, is tasked with delivering capital growth from investing in UK listed small companies. Its benchmark is the FTSE Small Cap Ex Invest Trust TR GBP.

At the end of April, the trust's NAV per share was 947.1 pence, on total assets of GBP192.9 million. With shares at 812.0 pence on April 30, their discount to NAV per share was 14.3%. There were 18.2 million shares in issue at the end of April.
