JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust Names Yoko Dochi As Non-Executive

17th Jul 2020 20:14

(Alliance News) - JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust PLC on Friday said it appointed Yoko Dochi as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

The investment company said Dochi held positions of managing director, global head of investor relations at SoftBank Group Corp and general manager, head of global treasury & investor relations at Toyota Motor Europe.

Dochi is currently a director of NIPPO Ltd.

"Yoko's most recent roles as a senior executive at SoftBank and Toyota, following periods at the World Bank and the Bank of Tokyo, means she will bring further knowledge, experience and insight of, amongst other things, Japan, Japanese corporations and shareholder communications to the board," said Director Christopher Samuel.

"I am therefore delighted to welcome her and look forward, with my board colleagues, to the insights and contributions that she will bring to the board's discussions," added Samuel.

JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust shares closed flat in London on Friday at 540.00 pence each.
