LONDON (Alliance News) - JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust PLC Friday said it significantly outperformed its benchmark over the one and three months periods to the end of December 2013.
The trust said in the one month period to December 31, its share price total return rose 2.7%, and net asset value was up 3.5%. The benchmark rose only 1.4%.
In the three month period to the end of December, it said its share price total return rose more than 13%, and its net asset value was up 11%. The benchmark was 8.2%.
The trust said its total assets as at December 31 2012, stood at GBP479.0 million, and at January 31 stood at GBP476.3 million.
Its shares were down 0.4% at 1,156.89 pence per share Friday afternoon.
