(Alliance News) - JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust PLC said Thursday it has appointed Victoria Stewart and Nicholas Melhuish as non-executive directors, with effect from February 1.
Stewart has spent twenty two years as a fund manager, the trust said, joining Chiswell Investment Management in 1994 before moving to Royal London Asset Management in 1998.
She was the sole manager of the Royal London UK Smaller Companies Fund from its inception in 2007, leaving in 2016 and taking up a non-executive director role with Secure Trust Bank PLC where she is Chair of the remuneration committee. Stewart is also a non-executive director of the Artemis Alpha Fund PLC.
Melhuish has spent 27 years as a portfolio manager, most recently as Head of Global Equities at the European asset manager Amundi SA. He lectures at the Said Business School on asset management.
Neither Stewart nor Melhuish own shares in the investment trust, JPMorgan said.
Shares in JPMorgan Claverhouse IT closed 1.1% higher in London on Thursday at 712.00 pence each.
