LONDON (Alliance News) - JP Morgan Private Equity Ltd Friday said its net asset value per US dollar equity share increased by 2.7% to USD1.14 in its last financial year, while the public market value of its US dollar equity shares increased by 5.5% during the same period.
Between June 30, the end point of its last financial year, and September 30, the company's US dollar equity shares increased by 2.91% to USD0.795, representing a 29.65% discount to prevailing net asset value as of July 31.
"The board and the managers continue to believe that the current market price does not reflect the underlying value of the company's portfolio, and as such, the company may seek to opportunistically repurchase USD equity shares in the open market," according to the company's statement.
JP Morgan Private Equity shares were Friday quoted down 0.6% at USD0.790.
