(Alliance News) - John Wood Group PLC on Wednesday said it has been awarded a multi-year enterprise framework agreement to continue to provide services to Shell PLC's projects.
"Bringing specialist consulting, engineering, procurement and project management expertise to Shell's greenfield and brownfield projects, the agreement will see Wood continue to support projects that ensure energy security and enable energy transition projects focused on carbon capture, low-carbon fuels and hydrogen," the consulting and engineering company said.
The agreement is a three-year framework, with options for two one-year extensions. It will see Wood deploy expertise in decarbonisation, digitalisation and asset life extension to enhance Shell assets worldwide, the company said.
Chief Executive Ken Gilmartin added the award continues a 70-year relationship between Shell and John Wood.
Shares in John Wood were down 0.6% at 150.33 pence on Wednesday morning in London. Shell shares were 1.0% lower at 2,328.50p, also in London.
