LONDON (Alliance News) - John Wood Group PLC said Thursday its new Chairman, Ian Marchant, will be succeeded by David Woodward as Senior Independent non-executive Director.
As previously announced, Marchant is set to become Chairman of the board upon the conclusion of the firms' 2014 Annual General Meeting on May 14, taking over from Allister Langlands who is retiring.
Woodward to take on Marhcant's vacated position as Senior Independent non-executive Director.
Wood Group also confirms that Jann Brown will join Wood Group as a non-executive Director on May 15, 2014 and will chair the Board's Audit Committee and join the Nomination Committee.
Brown joins from Cairn Energy PLC which today announced that she will not seek re-election to the board at its AGM on May 15. She currently serves as Cairn's Chief Financial Officer.
Shares in Wood Group were 0.59% higher at 767 pence per share at the open Thursday.
