LONDON (Alliance News) - Energy services company John Wood Group PLC on Tuesday said it has won a USD120.0 million industrial services contract with defence support services firm Babcock International Group PLC.
Under the contract, Wood Group PSN's industrial services unit will provide industrial services to a number of UK sites, employing 400 people and building on an existing relationship in place with Babcock.
"Securing this new contract is testament to our track record in the marine sector and relationship with Babcock International. We have a strong history of delivering marine projects safely, to schedule and to budget," said Hugh Pelham, the managing director of Wood Group Industrial Services, the unit which will handle the contract.
