LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil services company John Wood Group PLC on Thursday said it is providing engineering services for the Eagle Ford modification programme at Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi LLC's West refinery in south Texas in the US.
The project will mean the refinery can process 100% US crude oil, primarily for the Eagle Ford shale region, into transportation fuel. Engineering work is set to be completed by mid-2016.
"We are pleased that Flint Hills Resources selected Wood Group Mustang to be the engineer for its Project Eagle Ford. Our project team has been engaged in this program since 2011 and has assisted FHR through each phase of the project's evolution," said Curt Watson, the president of process plants and industrial at Wood Group Mustang, the production facilities engineering unit of the FTSE 250-listed company.
