John Laing Infrastructure Funds Buys Two Projects For GBP22 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - John Laing Infrastructure Fund Ltd on Monday said it has acquired the British Transport Police public-private partnership project and has agreed to buy the majority of the Oldham Social Housing project.

The FTSE 250-listed infrastructure investor said it will pay a total of GBP22.0 million to acquire all of the British Transport Police project and 95% of the Oldham Social Housing deal.

Both projects are fully-operational social infrastructure PPP assets in the UK and have been acquired under the first offer agreements the fund has in place with John Laing Group.

Shares in the fund were up 0.1% to 117.9 pence.
