John Laing Environmental Assets Says No Effect From UK Consultation

23rd Jul 2015 17:21

LONDON (Alliance News) - John Laing Environmental Assets Group Ltd Thursday said there will be no financial effect on its existing portfolio of operational assets or its immediate pipeline from a consultation on controlling subsidies for new solar PV projects of 5MW and below under the Renewables Obligation.

The company was responding after the UK's Department of Energy and Climate Change revealed the consultation.

John Laing Environmental Assets said it invests in a "diversified portfolio of operating environmental infrastructure assets, with 43% of its assets in onshore wind projects, 29% in waste and wastewater management projects and 28% in ground-mounted solar".

Shares in the company closed down 1.9% at 103.50 pence on Thursday.
