John Laing Environmental Assets Net Asset Value Declines

18th Feb 2016 08:22

LONDON (Alliance News) - John Laing Environmental Assets Group Ltd on Thursday said its net asset value dipped in the quarter to the end of December due to a downward revision of its electricity price forecasts.

The environmental infrastructure fund said its net asset value per share at the end of December was 95.9 pence per share, down from 101.2p at the end of September. It said the fall was down to lower assumed electricity prices and the payment of its 3.027 pence per share interim dividend for the quarter to the end of September.

The company will pay a 1.5135p interim dividend for the quarter to the end of December.

The group said availability across its environmental processing and renewables portfolio was good in the quarter, with generation volumes for the renewables portfolio very strong, particularly for wind assets, though solar was slightly behind plan. Waste management and wastewater treatment facilities were either in line or ahead of budget, it added.

Shares in the fund were down 0.4% to 95.1671p.
