LONDON (Alliance News) - John Laing Environmental Assets Group Ltd on Wednesday said it has struck a deal to acquire the Burton Wold Extension wind farm in Northamptonshire from John Laing Group PLC.
The environmental infrastructure investor has acquired the wind farm for GBP21.8 million from the FTSE 250-listed infrastructure investor.
The wind farm is located close to Burton Latimer and has nine turbines with a total generating capacity of 14.4 megawatts. It has been operational since September 2014.
John Laing Environmental Assets shares were down 0.2% to 102.235 pence on Wednesday, while John Laing Group shares were down 0.6% to 202.9p.
