JKX Oil & Gas AGM Outcome Triggers Mass Exodus Of Directors

LONDON (Alliance News) - JKX Oil & Gas on Thursday saw a mass exodus of directors following its annual general meeting.

In the meeting, shareholders voted against the reappointment of Chair Hans Jochum Horn and Senior Non-Executive Director Adrian Coates.

At the meeting, 56% of shareholders voted against re-electing Horn and 65% against re-electing Coates, leading to both resolutions not being passed and both directors losing their positions.

Both Horn and Coates have both been in their respective positions since 2017.

In addition, following the AGM results, Non-Executive Director Christian Bukovics and Andrey Shtyrba have both tendered their resignations.

Shares in the oil & gas firm closed 0.5% lower at 54.75 pence on Thursday.
