Janus Henderson Takes Stake In GVC Holdings Below Notifiable Threshold (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - GVC Holdings PLC said Wednesday Janus Henderson Group PLC took their interest in the company below the notifiable threshold.

Prior to the transaction last Thursday Janus Henderson had a 6.0% stake but their holding is now below 5.0%.

GVC shares closed down 0.8% Wednesday at 903.00 pence each.

In December, GVC agreed to acquire Ladbrokes Coral Group plc in a cash and stock deal worth at least GBP3.2 billion, where GVC shareholders will own 53.5% and Ladbrokes Coral 46.5% of the combined company.

Shares in the new company will begin trading in London on Thursday.
