James Cropper Subsidiary To Expand Production Capacity

8th Sep 2014 12:01

LONDON (Alliance News) - James Cropper PLC said Monday that its Technical Fibre Products subsidiary is to expand its production capacity with the installation of a third manufacturing line for its wet-laid technology.

The specialist paper mill said the new manufacturing line would be established in order to meet demand for the subsidiary's non-woven products.

Martin Thompson, the managing director of the Technical Fibre Products business, said the new manufacturing line is expected to be completed in summer 2015.

"The installation of a third production line at TFP is an exciting and necessary step to meet rapidly increasing demand and facilitate the delivery of the company's growth strategy," Thompson added.

James Cropper shares were trading 1.2% higher at 415 pence per share on Monday.
