LONDON (Alliance News) - Energy storage and clean fuel company ITM Power PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with The Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence to develop a hydrogen refuelling hub in east London.
The hub, which will provide training and information on hydrogen refuelling at the CEME site in Rainham, will be created after ITM secured planning approval for a solar hydrogen refuelling station to be built at the site.
That station will be installed in early 2016.
"CEME is a world class organisation, and we are delighted that they share ITM Power's vision to develop a hydrogen hub," said ITM Chief Executive Graham Cooley.
ITM shares were up 3.1% to 20.75 pence.
