LONDON (Alliance News) - Energy storage and clean fuel company ITM Power PLC on Monday said it has signed an agreement with Ove Arup & Partners Ltd for the siting and business development of hydrogen refuelling stations and hydrogen energy systems.
Ove Arup is a unit of Arup, the building consultancy, and the collaboration between the two will seek to identify opportunities to deploy hydrogen refuelling stations and energy storage systems using ITM Power's technology.
No financial details on the agreement were disclosed.
"ITM Power is pleased to announce this agreement with Arup. This is an excellent opportunity to identify new sites for hydrogen refuelling stations and other energy related projects," said Graham Cooley, ITM Power's chief executive.
Shares in ITM were up 0.7% to 24.30 pence.
