LONDON (Alliance News) - Energy storage and clean fuel company ITM Power PLC on Thursday said the Hydrogen Mobility Europe project has been launched.
ITM, which is the UK coordinator of the project, said the scheme will seek to promote the deployment of fuel-cell electric vehicles and hydrogen refuelling stations across the European market.
"The H2ME project is a fantastic opportunity to develop the refuelling infrastructure in the UK. The project is perfectly timed to coincide with the introduction of fuel cell cars in Europe, enabling evaluation of end-user experiences of hydrogen stations and FCEVs," said Rachel Smith, ITM Power executive director and the coordinator of the UK activities for the wider project.
Shares in ITM Power were up 1.8% to 28.64 pence on Thursday.
