LONDON (Alliance News) - ITM Power PLC Monday said it has delivered its first power-to-gas plant to the Thuga Group in Frankfurt on time and to budget.
The energy storage and clean fuel company said the plant has been deployed in Frankfurt where it will undergo an extensive acceptance, compliance and commissioning phase before going live in December.
ITM Power said it would update shareholders when commissioning has been completed and the plant first injects hydrogen into the German gas grid.
Power to gas plants convert excess electrical power generated by wind turbines and solar panels into gases.
ITM Power shares were up 2.1% to 43.00 pence Monday.
