IronRidge Resources Hires Assore Executive Kieran Daly To Board

9th Apr 2019 14:05

LONDON (Alliance News) - Bastiaan Van Aswegen has left the board of IronRidge Resources Ltd, the firm said Tuesday, to be replaced by Kieran Daly.

Non-Executive Director Van Aswegen has left with immediate effect, with Daly also joining straight away.

Daly joins as part of IronRidge's "strategic alliance" with Assore Ltd, which owns 31% of the company.

Daly is currently head of growth & strategic development at JSE-listed Assore, and before that spent 15 years in Anglo American PLC's coal operations.

IronRidge Chief Executive Vincent Mascolo commented: "We are delighted to welcome Kieran Daly to IronRidge's board. He brings a wealth of experience in strategic advisory and, ultimately, business growth and development.

"His insights and expertise will be highly valuable and comes at a compelling time for the company, as we seek to develop and enhance our portfolio of projects."

"At the same time, the directors of the company would like to extend their sincere thanks to Bastiaan Van Aswegen for his contribution to date. Bastiaan has been a highly valued member of the IronRidge board and the entire company has benefited from his knowledge and counsel during the transition from explorer to developer," Mascolo added.

Shares were 1.2% lower on Tuesday at a price of 18.28 pence each.
