IronRidge Resources Appoints New Non-Executive Under Sumitomo Alliance

9th Jul 2019 13:34

(Alliance News) - IronRidge Resources Ltd on Tuesday said it has appointed Tetsunosuke Miyawaki as non-executive director as part of a strategic alliance with Sumitomo Corp.

Miyawaki replaces retiring non-executive Kenichiro Tsubaki, having acted as Tsubaki's alternate director at the minerals exploration company so far.

Having joined global conglomerate and 10% Ironridge stakeholder Sumitomo in 1998, Miyawaki has had various key roles in, among other things, commodity trading and business development.

Thomas Ueda, who previously was nominated director for Sumitomo at Ironridge from May 2015 to March 2016, will return to the IronRidge board as Miyawaki's alternate director.

Shares in IronRidge were down 1.1% at 14.10 pence on Tuesday afternoon.
