IronRidge Appoints Amanda Harsas As Chief Financial Officer

(Alliance News) - Africa-focused minerals explorer IronRidge Resources Limited on Monday said it has appointed Amanda Harsas as its full time chief financial officer with immediate effect, a non-board role.

Shares in IronRidge, which has has assets in Ghana, Chad, Gabon and Ivory Coast, were down 5.7% in late morning trade at 15.52 pence.

Harsas has more than 20 years of experience in strategic finance, business transformation commercial finance, customer and supplier negotiations and capital management. She is also a chartered accountant and has experience in Asia, Europe and the US.

Her previous roles include general manager of Finance Strategy & Group Business Services at Healius Ltd and financial controller at the Law Society of New South Wales.

Neil Herbert, chair at IronRidge, has welcomed Harsas to the company. He said: "IronRidge continues to strengthen its management team as it makes its transition from explorer to developer. We are delighted Amanda is joining us in this important role and at such a pivotal time in the company's history."

This appointment follows the resignation of Priy Jayasuriya as chief financial officer "by mutual agreement". Company secretary Karl Schlobohm worked as interim CFO in the meantime, as he had acted as CFO in the past.
