LONDON (Alliance News) - Insurer Beazley PLC said Tuesday that non-executive director Padraic O?Connor resigned from the board on Thursday.
O'Connor is the chairman of the Irish Stock Exchange and holds non-executive director positions at Rabobank and JP Morgan Bank Dublin Ltd.
O'Connor has been a non-executive director for Beazley since March 2009. As part of the resignation, O'Connor also had stepped down from the board of its subsidiary Beazley Re Designated Activity Company.
Dublin-based Beazley said last week that its shareholders approved the relocation of its management from Ireland to the UK, returning to the group's London head office. The move is being effect via the creation of a new UK domiciled holding company, which Beazley believes will increase its operational efficiency.
Shares in Beazley were up 0.7% at 358.40 pence at the close on Tuesday.
