(Alliance News) - Industrial production in Ireland declined in the final quarter of 2025, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Thursday.
Output in manufacturing industries fell 1.7% on-quarter in the fourth quarter, but was 7.2% higher on-year.
Irish turnover in manufacturing industries contracted by 9.6% on-quarter in the fourth quarter, while the annual decline was 10%.
The statistics office said that the modern sector experienced an annual increase of 9.5% in production in the fourth quarter, while the traditional sector declined by 3.6% on-year.
