LONDON (Alliance News) - Irish Continental Group PLC Thursday said Finance Director Garry O'Dea will be retiring at the end of May.
O'Dea, who trained as an accountant at KPMG and joined ICG in 1988 from CRH PLC, will be replaced internally, the company said.
"We are very fortunate that Garry has during his tenure developed a first class senior management team which will greatly smooth the transition (via internal promotion) which will be announced later this morning," Eamonn Rothwell, chief executive, said in a statement.
Irish Continental Group shares were up 3.6% at EUR3.48 late Thursday morning.
