(Alliance News) - Ireland's harmonised consumer price index inflation came in as expected in April, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Thursday.
The country's annual harmonised consumer price inflation rate was 2.0% in April, picking up from 1.8% in March. This confirmed flash figures released by the CSO at the end of April.
Harmonised monthly consumer price growth was confirmed at 0.4% in April, decelerating from 0.7% in March from February.
Annual consumer price inflation picked up to 2.2% in April from 2.0% in March, while monthly price growth slowed to 0.4% in April from 0.7% in March.
