LONDON (Alliance News) - IQ-AI Ltd on Wednesday said Korea Motion ISG has been appointed as the first South East Asian distributor of its Imaging Biometrics LLC products.
IQ-AI subsidiary Imaging Biometrics produces diagnostic imaging products for detecting and monitoring brain tumours.
These products have already been presented to several hospitals in Korea, which IQ-AI said has generated "significant potential sales interest".
Earlier this month, Korea Motion secured the first sale of IQ-AI's StoneChecker software for monitoring kidney stones.
"Our South Korean partner recently demonstrated their enthusiasm and competence in the medical software field through the introduction of StoneChecker securing the first commercial order for that product earlier this month," said Imaging Biometrics Chief Executive David Smith.
"After trialling the full Imaging Biometrics range with several hospitals in recent months we are confident they will repeat this success with our products for detecting and monitoring brain tumours," Smith added.
Imaging Biometrics has also received ISO 13485:2016 certification for its medical device and quality management systems. ISO certification is a regulatory requirement that is specific to the medical device industry.
Shares in IQ-AI were up 1.7% on Wednesday at 3.00 pence. IQ-AI was formerly known as Flying Brands Ltd, changing its name in October.
