(Alliance News) - IP Group PLC on Tuesday said portfolio company Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd is preparing for a potential initial public offering in the second half of 2021.
The London-based intellectual property commercialisation company holds a 15% direct undiluted stake in Oxford Nanopore. IP Group said that stake is valued at GBP340.3 million, suggesting a value of GBP2.27 billion for Oxford Nanopore as a whole.
Oxford Nanopore said the timing of the IPO on the London Stock Exchange is dependent on "market conditions and other matters not fully within its control".
Shares in IP Group were up 0.8% at 121.00 pence in London on Tuesday.
