LONDON (Alliance News) - Iofina PLC Wednesday said it has began finalising construction procedures at its IO#3 Plant and has received acceptance towards a key permit in the US.
The iodine exploration and production company said that construction of its IO#3 production plant in the US is currently being finalized and commissioning procedures will begin next week.
Iofina said that full scale production at the site is expected shortly after these procedures.
The company also said it has received notification from the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation that its application for a permit for beneficial water usage related to its Water Depot project was deemed complete and accurate.
The permit means that the company can move its application forward towards its determination phase, which can take up to 120 days.
Iofina shares were up 1.3% to 170.00 pence Wednesday.
